Chad Punchard wanted a premium, fresh brand identity that reflects their refined craftsmanship, commitment to sustainability, and quirky creativity.
The goal was to attract bespoke furniture clients in Swansea with a distinctive visual story rooted in authenticity and innovation.

We started by diving deep into understanding the business goals and target audience. Research showed strong demand for customisation, sustainability, and clear client collaboration. A market and competitor audit helped identify opportunities to stand out while aligning with the expectations of discerning furniture buyers looking for quality and authenticity.

This phase involved translating research insights into initial concepts. Mood boards and visual inspiration guided the creative direction, blending natural texture motifs and bold, clean design elements to reflect Studio Punchards’ unique story and values.

The first round of designs incorporated this research and creative thinking but didn’t fully capture the personal touch the client desired. It was clear we needed to refine and strip back elements that didn’t serve the core brand story. The designs were liked but required more focus and intimacy.
